know that the equipment design is only part of the overall design
necessary to successfully bring a product to market, so we develop
equipment that will guarantee commercial results for you.
Many
of our customers need us only to top-up their capabilities with
particular skills but if full designs are necessary, then we can
cope with that for you. And we can tailor it to use your local
suppliers, materials and methods. We are most happy to develop
the designs for you, and prefer not to impose another market's
solutions to your situation.
On
occasion customers know they need some assistance, but the real
problem is not obvious. We can carefully investigate the situation,
and make sure that the disease is treated, not just the symptom.
Our experience allows them to feel more comfortable with the situation
once we have reviewed the technical specifications, and the plan
for applying that specification to the real world. That's why

or under the surface, our design inputs help ensure high productivity
and safety. We are very familiar with the full scope of requirements
from explosive environments in underground coal mines, to the
largest of open-cuts.
We
have designed big buckets, crash-tested ROPS/FOPS , designed earthmover
drivetrains, and conducted roll-over tests.

Light-Strike Vehicles to Main Battle Tanks, our people have been
involved - again looking at the special applications.

our wide range of vehicle design experience, coupled with specialised
military training, we know the requirements and the application.

it is an amphibious tour bus, or a heavyweight container handler,
we have been involved, and have the expertise to assist with other
similar applications.
Waterfront
operations are a particular specialty, where we clearly understand
the operational pressures and operating conditions, and can tailor
a unique solution for our clients.
Aviation
No,
we don’t design planes, but we do design the vehicles that
service and support them. Many designs by our employees can be
seen hard at work throughout the world, and we continue to support
some of the biggest names in international aviation.

Miscellaneous
There
are many other areas we have demonstrated expertise in, from specialised
rail vehicles (including rack locomotive and systems) to mainline
locomotives and heavy load carriers. We are also familiar with
traversers, road/rail shunter and servicing facilities.
Special
rail requirements are familiar territory for us.
In
the automotive world, we have helped design, install and commission
automated assembly lines, and have re-located lines to new facilities.
We also specialise in the concept design of specialist, heavy
vehicles, and the preparation of market surveys and business plans
to support their development.
